Time to get ready to vote! Here are some resources to check if you are eligible to cast a ballot for Anne, register to vote, and where and how you support Anne at the polls this November.
Eligibility and registration

Are you eligible to vote? To vote in Connecticut you must be 18 years old by election date and be a US citizen living in Connecticut. Click here for more details.

How do you register to vote? You can register to vote online through the Secretary of State website up to 18 days before election day. Click here to register.

Absentee and early voting

Early voting allows you to vote in person safely and securely before Election Day. You will be able to cast your ballot for the general election any day from October 21 to November 3, 10 am to 6 pm, and with extended voting hours (8 am to 8 pm) on October 29 and 31. Absentee voting allows you to receive an absentee ballot if you will not be able to vote in person on election day for any reason. To receive your absentee ballot you need to complete and sign an application and return it to your Town Clerk. Click here to download the application. Locate your local Town Clerk here.
Election day voting

Polls are open on November 5 from 6 am to 8 pm. You can confirm your registration status and polling place here.

An ID isn't required in Connecticut but having it on hand is a good idea in case a poll worker wants it. If there's any problem with voting, you have the right to cast a provisional ballot to ensure your vote is counted.
