About Anne
My Story:
My mom was a single mom and I grew up middle class. Her parents lived in Danbury my entire childhood and I spent a lot of time as a kid on Candlewood Lake. That’s me with the long skinny legs!
After a career in New York City, I came home to Candlewood Lake. I live in Sherman with my husband and the many birds, trees and wildlife that surround us. I proudly serve on the Sherman Conservation Commission.
I was pregnant my last semester of Harvard Law School and have been a working mom my entire professional life. My kids are grown now. One is a scientist, one’s a farm educator and one is a political organizer!

I have worked for a variety of employers, from big companies to small nonprofits. I understand the language of business but am not beholden to an industry or interest. I believe great leaders make great businesses, and teach leadership at the Stern School of Business at NYU.

I believe working families are the backbone of our democracy and our communities. Together, we can create a brighter future for our families and the planet we all call home.
As your state representative, I will:
★ Work everyday with anyone to deliver solutions
★ Listen to you and be your voice in Hartford
★ Bring home all the State funding available to our communities
